From 15 to 17 September 2026, Padova Congress will host the joint SGI-SIMP Congress, an event dedicated to discussion of the major issues facing the Geosciences and their role in understanding and managing the transformations affecting our planet.
The congress will focus on the study of the Earth in all its complexity, from near-surface environments to its deepest interior, exploring geological processes, interpretative models and new analytical technologies. Key topics for the 2026 edition will include climate change, resource management, energy-source diversification, environmental and territorial risks, and the contribution of artificial intelligence to geoscientific research.
