Almost two years have passed since the opening of Padua Congress. A “house of innovation,” a contemporary, versatile and technological space that has already won over the meetings industry for the beauty and flexibility of its environments, which can adapt to different types of events and fruition, but also for its technical and multimedia equipment, which is unparalleled in Europe in terms of spaces dedicated to the conference industry.<\/p>\n
“In this first two-year period,” explains Nicola Rossi <\/strong>, President of Padova Hall, the company that manages the fairgrounds and the facility, “Padova Congress has increasingly established itself as a reference space for medical-scientific congresses, but also as a place that serves the economic fabric of the area, with corporate conventions and events promoted by trade associations\u00bb. Alongside major international congresses – from Eap – European Academy of Pediatrics to the International Congress of Meat Science and Technology just to name a few – in 2023 a number of cultural events were also successfully held, from the great concert of the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, realized in collaboration with Inaf, the Chamber of Commerce and the City Council, to the concert of the Band of the Carabinieri Corps, appointments that made it possible to enhance the advanced multimedia and technological equipment of Padua Congress to the highest levels.<\/p>\n Fifty-eight events were held last year, with 63,000 attendees: a figure that points to substantial consolidation and confirmation with regard to 2022. “For 2024, further growth is expected: to date there are already more than 50 events confirmed for about 80,000 expected attendees, a figure that is destined to strengthen and exceed 100,000 because more will be added to the confirmed events during the year.
